Shriya Saran has filed a complaint with the South Indian Film Artistes Association, popularly known as Nadigar Sangam, against the producer of the Tamil dubbed version of her debut Malayalam movie Pokkiri Raja.

Even as attempts are on in a fast track for the release of the Tamil version, which has been titled Raja Pokkiri Raja, Shriya has alleged that she should be paid by the producer before the release of the movie.

'As per the agreement between me and the producer, he should pay me if the film is dubbed in some other south Indian language. But without doing so, the movie is getting dubbed in Tamil,' the actress said.

However, Malaysia Pandian, who has bagged the dubbing rights, reacted sharply and said, 'There is no such agreement between me and Shriya. She should contact the original producer of the Malayalam version and not me. I will take legal action if the release of the film is halted by her.'
