Karthi's upcoming film 'Siruthai' recently completed the shooting in across the down south regions in Tamil Nadu. The film as known earlier is a remake of Telugu movie 'Vikramakudu' that had Ravi Teja and Anushka performing roles. The remake version has Karthi in dual roles – Petty Thief and a Police Officer while Thamannah stars opposite him in female lead role.   The film was supposed to get released by this month and is now postponed to Jan 14 on the occasion of Pongal. The film is directed by Siva, who has already made successful Telugu movies like 'Shouryam' and 'Shankam'. Vidhyasagar is scoring music to the lyrics of Na. Muthukumar, Arivazhagan and Yugabharathy.   The audio launch is planned to be held somewhere by end of December 2010.
