'Siva Manasula Sakthi' happens to be a big blockbuster in the Tamil film industry and was declared a commendable entertainer. Now producer R.B. Choudary is remaking the film in Telugu titled as 'SMS', featuring newcomers Sudhir Babu and Rejeena as the lead actors. The film is directed by Thatineni Satya and is produced by R.B. Choudary under the banner of Super Good Films.

Superstar Krishna sounded the clap-board, while D Ramanaidu switched on the camera and Vijaya Nirmala directed the first shot on the lead pair. 

Very excited about making his debut, Sudhir mentioned that he is the nephew of Krishna and underwent training for professional acting. He said, "SMS was a super hit in Tamil and we are remaking this movie in Telugu and I hope it will be a successful one."
