Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi admits she felt "lonely" while filming the last season of Jersey Shore.

The 24-year-old was accustomed to partying alongside castmates for episodes of the reality show.

However, during the programme's final season, Snooki found it hard to keep up with her friends due to the fact that she was in her third trimester.

"It was definitely a little lonely," Snooki lamented to People magazine.

"Everyone was still going out and staying up late and I just wanted to go to bed at 8 o'clock. I didn't want to do everything that everyone else was doing."

The Jersey Shore star and fiance Jionni LaValle welcomed baby boy Lorenzo on August 26.

Though Snooki was thankful that castmates like Jenni "JWOWW" Farley and Deena Cortese supported her during her pregnancy, she's glad to be moving on from the series.

"Everything changed," Snooki mused. "The partying is long gone."

The final season of Jersey Shore premieres in October.
