Even as rumours were afresh that Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor his co-star in the film "Mausam" did not get along with each other, the actress has infact proved the rumours right. Sonam Kapoor who is known for her fiery temper and outspoken nature has apparently walked out of a Karan Johar project, due to an ongoing tiff with Shahid.

An insider source said, "Previously, Shahid was supposed to be a part of Soham Singh's directorial venture, "Kaal". But at the last moment, he backed out of the film. Shahid opted out for the sake of solidarity. And since then, he hadn't been offered a role in a Dharma Production."

The source further explained, "Shahid recently confirmed that he is going to be a part of the film. Once that was decided, Karan Johar and the unit felt that Sonam should not be a part of the film, as everyone in the industry is aware that Shahid and Sonam did not get along at all on the sets of "Mausam". It was evident that their on-screen pairing did not work for the film and so, the makers did not want to repeat the same mistake. As a result, the filmmakers are in search of a new leading lady."

However, a friend of Sonam defended, " She hasn't been sacked from the project. Sonam herself had opted out of the film a long time ago. She wants to concentrate on other projects."
