Shruti Haasan has sent a legal notice to a popular Tamil weekly, for carrying an article which claimed that she was in a relationship with Dhanush, her co-star in the upcoming film "3".

'It was a baseless report and it was published without trying to verify the facts with me. I share only a professional relationship with Dhanush and there is nothing more than that. I am upset with the report and sent a legal notice to the magazine,' she said.

Stating that she was expecting a prompt reply from the vernacular weekly, Shruthi said she would go to the Court otherwise. 'How can I tolerate if someone goes on writing something false about me. I am very much accessible to the press and journalists can feel free to contact me.'

On "3", she says, 'Director Aishwarya Dhanush is planning to release the film in February. I must say both Aishwarya and Dhanush helped me a lot on the sets of "3", to get my act right as a school going girl.'
