It has been reported that important members of the squad behind Sonys TSN are coming together again to function on a fresh film, which will be referred to as Sex On The Moon (SOTM). SOTM will be rooted in a book proposal by Ben Mezrich, who had also inscribed The Accidental Billionaires (TAB), which was the foundation on which Aaron Sorkin placed his script for the film project, TSN.
Mezrich had formerly written the tome that eventually became the film, 21, of which the male protagonist was Kevin Spacey, who is a successful actor with several awards to his name.
SOTM narrates the true tale of Thad Roberts, a previous NASA scientist, who created a plan in 2004 to filch lunar rocks from the Johnson Space Center (JSN), and vend them online. His incentive was the wooing of his girlfriend by factually supplying to her the moon.
The LA Times has asserted that Sony has the rights to the tale and will work in partnership for SOTM with the TSNs producers such as Scott Rudin, Dana Brunetti and Michael De Luca along with the executive producer, Spacey.
TSN had acquired numerous honors at the recent Golden Globe Awards in prestigious categories. It was awarded the honor for Best Picture and superlative directorship as well as honors for excellent screenplay and original score.
