Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan shot to fame with his impeccable performance in his initial films that reined the box office. But not many know that before debuting on the 70 mm screen, the star had already proved his acting caliber through his performance on TV which he did at the beginning of his career.
He starred in a couple of shows like 'Fauji' and 'Circus' after which he caught the attention of filmmakers and the rest as they say is history. He returned to television with shows like 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', 'Kya Aap Panchvi Paas Se Tez Hai' and 'Zor Ka Jhatka'.
And now if rumors are to be believed, it is heard that the actor is planning to return on TV once again. SRK who is currently shooting for filmmaker Rohit Shetty's 'Chennai Express', confessed that he is yearning to comeback on television very soon.
However, he revealed that he doesn't intend to host any other reality show but would like to make something on the lines of international daily soaps. "I think we should make something like the international daily soaps where Hollywood stars act. It's a matter of 3-4 months within which they complete the show and then move on to continue with films," said Shah Rukh.
He who is toying with the idea stated that he has already discussed the possibilities with his friends in the television industry and hence would like to do this. "We are actors and telling a story is our job, be it screens or television, regardless of the medium, performance is expected from us," added SRK.
