Much-awaited film 'Fan' starring Shah Rukh Khan is pushed for next year release, since complex visual effects and post-production nuances appears to be time consuming and laborious.

The film was initially slated to hit the screens during the Independence Day weekend. The team is trying to come up with never-seen before VFX in the film and that is taking longer time than expected.

Aashish Singh, VP of Production at Yash Raj Films confirmed the report, "Due to highly complicated VFX employed for the film, Fan will release only in 2016. The exact date will be decided soon."  

The film is also left with another schedule shoot. The film will feature SRK in a double role- as a superstar and as a fan.
