Even as the shooting of "Gundello Godhari", a film produced by Lakshmi Manchu with Aadhi, Sundeep, Taapsee and Lakshmi playing the lead roles progressing on a fast track, here we present you the outline of its story.

According to sources in the unit, the movie deals with the 1986 floods which forms the backdrop of the film, and the lives of four individuals. 'Aadhi, Sundeep, Taapsee and Lakshmi have beautifully performed their respective roles,' sources say.

Meanwhile, Lakshmi Manchu has kickstarted her acting career in Tamil, by signing two big projects- Superstar Rajinikanth's "Kochadaiyaan" and Mani Ratnam's "Kadal".

Rajini is a close family friend of Lakshmi as her father Mohan Babu is one of the best pals of the southern Superstar. While Mani Ratnam too is known to her right from the days when she was a child. 'Lakshmi is happy with both her roles- as a producer and as an actor,' sources say.
