Actress Sujibala who was in the news for attempting to end her life last week, denied all reports to be false.

The 'Ayyavazhi' actress said, "I took a pill by mistake, after I had developed a health complication but instead of feeling better, I felt uneasy. I was rushed to the hospital immediately.  This entire incident was mistaken to be a suicide. But that was clearly a wrong notion".

A day after the media was full of her name, Sujibala has denied reports, that she attempted suicide by taking sleeping pills, since, she was unhappy with her parents' decision to marry her off to a film director.

Sujibala was supposed to get married to director Ravikumar, with whom she is working on a movie titled 'Unmai' as the lead actress. With just one day left for her marriage - which was scheduled to be held Monday, August 27, Sujibala 'mistakenly' consumed sleeping pills on Saturday night.

The actress added, "The marriage is definitely on and we plan to get married in October, this year".
