The Deiva Thirumagal duo is getting ready to join hands with the Singam combo. Anushka Shetty and Amala Paul, who were seen sharing the screen space with Vikram in Deiva Thirumagan, will now romance Suriya for a film to be directed by Hari.
This is the fourth time for Hari to direct Suriya, as they presented Aaru, Vel and Singam before. Confirming the development, the director, known for his mass masala entertainers, says, "Yes, I am happy to work with Suriya again. He is a director's actor."
On the heroines, he says, "The script for Suriya’s next will be a two-heroine subject and we have actually finalized Anushka as one of the female leads. As for Amala being approached, the discussions are on and we will make an official announcement soon."
While some say that the movie would be a sequel to Singam, there are others who say it is a fresh script. "But one thing is sure that Suriya will play a police officer again in this movie, which is set in the backdrop of a village and city. The project will hit the floors soon," they say.
