(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ricky Gervais thinks its "ridiculous" that the "PC brigade" condemn him before they've even seen his work.
The 50-year-old British star is famed for his controversial humour. He is currently promoting his latest project Life's Too Short, which stars famous dwarf Warwick Davies as a fictional version of himself.
Ricky gets frustrated that people have judged the concept before even watching it.
"The PC brigade has already accused me of exploitation before they've even seen an episode. It's ridiculous!" he fumed to Closer magazine.
"It's important that people know this isn't a series based on gags about short people."
The series features a host of celebrity cameos, including Sting, Liam Neeson, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter.
Ricky is thrilled with the interest.
"After Extras finished, a lot of celebrities told me they'd have loved to be in it, so this new show is a good excuse to mop up' some of those people," he explained. (C) Cover Media
