(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Swizz Beatz thinks an Alicia Keys and Adele duet would "make history".

The rapper-and-producer is Alicia's husband, and insists his talented wife should team up with the British songstress.

Speculation of a possible collaboration between the singers was started by Swizz last month, with Alicia also stating that she loved the idea.

Despite who produces the track, the 32-year-old thinks the women would make an impressive team.

"I just know that you know greatness when you see greatness, and teaming two greats up together, it makes history," he explained to MTV. "And I don't even have to produce the track; I just want it to happen. She can produce the track, somebody else can produce the track."

Swizz has been adamant for Alicia and Adele to team up for a while. The music producer says it would be a natural fit for the pair to come together because of their exceptional talent and mutual respect for one another.

"I just thought that, man, this would be a great moment for both of them, because they have amazing styles and they both respect each other," he said. "They're fans of each other. So let's make this good for music."

Swizz says the collaboration may happen soon. The American star hinted at an imminent plan.
