At a time when the whole nation is behind anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare fighting against coruption, director Murugadoss is keen to use the opportunity to remake his Telugu hit ‘Tagore’, the film voiced against corruption, in Hindi.
Murugadoss, who was giving finishing touches to ‘7aam Arivu’, his next Tamil film starring Suriya in the lead role, was neither ready to deny the idea nor to conform it.
“I would like to remake ‘Tagore’ in Bollywood but I am not sure when I would do it,” the director said and added: “My next project will be a Tamil film with Vijay.”
‘Tagore’, starring Chiranjeevi in the lead role, was about a college professor who unites his students and starts a movement against corruption. The movie was originally made by Murugadoss in Tamil as’ Ramana’, starring Vijayakanth in the lead.
