January 25, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Villu was a Tamil movie that released in 2009 and was directed by Prabhu Deva, with the movie having the Tamil superstars, Vijay and Nayantara, as the protagonists. It is now being dubbed as Yama Kantri (YK) in Telugu by G. Usharani of GDR Media. The Telugu versions music has been executed by Devi Sri Prasad, with the initiation of the films audio on January 31. YK will enter the theaters by the second week of February.
YK and Villu are motivated by Bobby Deol's successful Hindi film, Soldier, the story of which is rooted in a loving son, who desires vengeance against the males, who were guilty for the demise of his Dad.
In Villu, Major Saravanan, whose character of a sincere army officer is enacted by Vijay, is on the brink of seizing three army officers implicated in the trading of arms to antinational forces and drug lords. However, the Major is gruesomely assassinated by them. The three males subsequently framed the Major as a radical and eliminated the awards and acclamations from his corpse just prior to his cremation.
The Majors carcass was left to decompose in the sun since the rural inhabitants declined to set fire to him in their neighborhood. The Major has a wife, whose character is enacted by Ranjitha, and a solitary son named Pughal, whose character is enacted by a younger Vijay. Pughal subsequently plots and implements retribution against his Dads assassins and extricates the terrorist smear from the name of his nationalistic Dad.
Vijay is a prominent Tamil actor, with numerous commercially triumphant Tamil films of the action and romantic genre to his name such as Poove Unakkaga, Kushi, Ghilli, etc. He has also operated as a playback vocalist in most of his films. His career in the Tamil film industry has been a satisfactory one, with him conquering three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. Vijay has functioned with numerous conglomerates as their brand ambassador and has been a brand ambassador of the Chennai Super Kings, a cricket squad of the moneyed IPL.
