Kannan, after 'Jayam Kondan' and 'Kanden Kadhalai', is now directing a film titled 'Vandhan Vendran'. Jeeva and Tapsee are in the lead roles in this film. Santhanam is taking care of the comedy. A song sequence was shot in New Zealand last week. Tapsee who was not able to bear the chill, suffered a lot. The song sequence was not shot at the desired spot because of this, director Kannan revealed.

Director Kannan while speaking about this said, "We had been to New Zealand to shoot the song that begins with the line 'Anjana Anjana'. Yugabharathi has penned the lyrics. We shot this song sequence at Interlegan, Mutter and Dern. It was minus degrees in Interlegan. When we went there, the cold was gradually increasing. Since Jeeva was wearing a coat and suit, he was able to withstand the cold but Tapsee was wearing a different costume. She was not able to bear the cold because of this. She could not stand there for more than 10 minutes without wearing the coat. She rushed to her van. So we shot her sequences very fast and shot some of the other scenes where it was warmer."

Well, guess that's the price these stars pay for stardom.
