(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Taylor Armstrong has spoken about her abusive marriage for the first time.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star spoke to Entertainment Tonight about how her late husband Russell was first violent towards her when she was pregnant.

Russell committed suicide last month and Taylor has opened up about how his death has affected her and their five-year-old daughter Kennedy.

She says that although she grieves for her husband, life with him was marred with violent outbursts including when she was carrying their child.

"The first time he ever really harmed me physically, I was pregnant with Kennedy and he grabbed me by the throat and held me against a wall," she disclosed. "I saw his ability to go from zero to 60 that quickly."

Taylor alleges that she lived her life in fear always concerned when next Russell would erupt.

"You live your life constantly on egg shells waiting for the other shoe to drop," Taylor said. "I don't think he saw himself as an abuser until the last time that he hurt me when I finally ended our relationship."

Images of Taylor with a severe black eye have been released and she says that was the final straw for her and the last time she alleges that he abused her.

"When I finally showed him the MRI he just put it down and started to cry," she claims. "And I think it was him having to come to terms with the fact that this had gone on for too long and that this could've hurt me beyond what could've been repaired." (C) Cover Media
