Taylor Lautner admits that dancing makes him "nervous".

The 19-year-old actor plays werewolf Jacob Black in the Twilight series. In the most recent instalment The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 he and co-star Kristen Stewart, who portrays Bella Swan, take part in a dance scene.

Taylor was terrified at the prospect of performing choreography.

"I was extremely nervous," Taylor explained to MTV News. "Especially when they told us there was going to be lifts and stuff. I was like, are you kidding me? Are we on Dancing With the Stars? No!"

Taylor's nerves did not hinder his spectacular performance. Although he was frazzled about delivering a quality onscreen routine, he did not allow his anxiety to interfere with Jacob and Bella's glorious caper.

"I thought it was going to be a really simple slow dance, which it was in the end. And it turned out really well. It's a very beautiful scene, visually and emotionally."

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 will be released in theatres this weekend.
