(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Taylor Swift hardly slept when she first moved into her new home because she was so scared.

The 20-year-old singer has an apartment in Nashville, which she moved into earlier this year. She has enjoyed putting her own stamp on the property, including installing a pond and human-sized bird cage in the living room.

Although Taylor enjoyed decorating, she admits it took her a while to get used to having her own place. I was scared on the first two nights, but I got over it, she explained. Ive never had one of those terrifying experiences when you can hear your heart beating in your chest.

The star describes her home as eclectic and wouldnt have it any other way. She knows people think her interior design ideas are strange, but she reasons she is only young and now is the best time to express her personality.
