The country star is often spotted out and about in a range of stylish outfits, but she still questions her decision to buy one of the designer jackets, which fetch up to $2,500.

The 20-year-old feels her spending goes against her father's pragmatic approach as he always taught her to save not splurge.

The Rick Owens leather jacket Im wearing today, Taylor answered when asked by Look magazine what her biggest fashion blowout has been.

She says it was her own birthday gift but she wont make a habit of such outrageous purchases. I remember having to justify it to myself. It was my birthday present to me. I dont go on shopping sprees and blow a lot of money. My dads a financial advisor and has told me to save my money all my life, she explained.

However, the star believes it is natural for people to want to improve their look and the beauty feels fashion can be a way to achieve this. Im like every girl when I look at a picture and think, The hair could be better. I shouldnt wear those shoes again. But thats human nature, she commented. (C) Cover Media
