The indie rock band comprises of American singer-songwriter Alison Mosshart and British guitarist Jamie Hince.

The pair are both vegans and have precise demands when it comes to food on their tour.

Alison, 32, explained red foods are a no-go when it comes to choosing the menu.

And no red foods. So spaghetti is out, she laughed to Q magazine.

Jamie, 40, leaves the rider to his bandmate to organise and ultimately has what hes given.

Alison sorts it out about a month before we go on tour so I dont get a say. Ill turn up at the venue and its basically all Ryvita and sugar-free Red Bull, he explained.

The musician who is set to marry Kate Moss this summer has compared the band to a Black Velvet drink. He explained the group works well because he and Alison are so different, just like the ingredients in the beverage.
