The whole of Tollywood poured their best wishes on Megastar and an active politician, Chiranjeevi, who celebrated his 57th birthday on Wednesday.
Last year, two days before his 56th birthday, Chiranjeevi joined the Congress in the presence of A.I.C.C. general secretary Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi. In February 2011, Chiranjeevi had announced that his political party, Praja Rajyam Party (P.R.P.) would merge with the congress.
The actor has also won the Padma Bhushan Award in the year 2006. Chiranjeevi has also been involved in various philanthropic activities. In 1998, he founded the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust (C.C.T.), which includes the Chiranjeevi Blood and Eye Banks.
Recently, Chiranjeevi also expressed his eagerness towards his 150th project. The actor, who has won 9 Filmfare Awards, the most by any Telugu actor, said that he is waiting for that special moment and right script to flaunt his big venture.
