(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Adam Shankman says the possibility of Tom Cruise starring in Rock of Ages is looking really good.
Director Adam is set to work on a film adaptation of the iconic musical, and rumours have been flying that Hollywood star Tom will have a part.
Although the role still isnt set in stone, Adam has revealed the chances of Tom appearing in the movie are probable.
"It's all looking really good," he told E! Online.
Apparently it was Toms comedy performance in hit 2008 movie Tropic Thunder which caught Adams attention. The star played Les Grossman in the film, and wasnt afraid to don a fat suit and bald cap for the part.
"I was really inspired and impressed by him as Les Grossman, and his willingness to go for it, explained Adam.
"He and I had talked about doing a musical, so I thought I'd talk to him about Rock of Ages."
Rock of Ages boasts an outstanding array of hits, including many rock anthems from the 80s. Adam says if Tom does land a part in the film he will most definitely be displaying his vocal skills.
Of course, he will, responded Adam when asked if Tom would sing in the musical. "If he's in it, he has to." (C) Cover Media
