Bollywood's upcoming rom-com
'Total Siyapaa' has been making headlines for all the right reasons since the day its trailer has been released.
The film has garnered quite a lot of positive attention from all ends.
As the film is inching closer to its release date (7th March), the team confesses that they are pretty confident about the film.
Film's director
E Niwas claims that unlike other famous 'India-Pakistan' love stories, this Bollywood film is high on reality and less on melodrama.
According to the director, the film is realistic and deals with emotions of common people in the given situation where confusion and chaos rises from the love between a Muslim-Pakistani boy and a Hindu-Indian girl.
He shuns comparison with films like
'Gadar - Ek Prem Katha' and
'Veer-Zaara' which were about love defying borders as he claims that their film is light-hearted while it still revolves around serious issues.
He says that the film deals with emotions of the family involved which goes berserk on discovering the origin of their daughter's boyfriend.
Niwas is also very happy with his cast as he claims that none could've performed the part better than
Ali Zafar and
Yaami Gautam.
It remains to be seen if all the positivity gets them the desired box office returns or not.
