Just recently Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was yet again detained at US airport and was interrogated for almost two hours. SRK who was there to be honored at Yale University was detained after he landed from a private plane with Nita Ambani. SRK expressed his displeasure, as this was the second time it had happened to him.

SRK had revealed that he was asked questions which were not substantial and unnecessary. This gave rise to accusations against US officials that slammed them for racism charges against Asians. "I wouldn't necessarily look at this as some sort of pattern, but rather two separate incidents," said State Department spokesman Mark Toner over SRK's detention in three years. 

Instead of being apologetic, the officials asked the Indians to refer to US embassy in India before their visit the US, "There is a program whereby travelers can alert, identify their status before they depart via the embassy. And that's one approach or avenue to take," added Mr Toner. He shunned the accusations that SRK was not detained on racism grounds against he being an Asian or a Muslim, "That's clearly not the case. You know, the fact of the matter is tens of thousands of Muslims travel to and fro from the US every day and are not detained or delayed," justified Toner.
