(Cover) - EN Star Style - Vanessa Hudgens has admitted she has an obsession with velvet.

The 22-year-old American actress has been making the most of the ongoing New York Fashion Week, although she admits some of her biggest fashion inspiration comes from rummaging around vintage stores rather than runway shows.

Vanessa loves old-style glamour, and in the past has found some fantastic pieces in her favourite material by scouring thrift shops.

"And I'm really into velvet, any kind is an obsession. Because it feels good, I love the way it looks, I love the way it used to be styled and I just found this amazing vintage long jacket that's velvet from the 20s, that's still in amazing shape," she enthused in an interview with StyleList at the recent Alice + Olivia Fall Autumn/Winter 11 presentation.

The beautiful star is considered one of Americas hottest young style icons, although it is a label she would argue against. Vanessa doesnt consider herself to be a fashion revolutionary as she tends to opt for safer options rather than pushing boundaries with clothes.
