Members of 'Vedi' team, including hero Vishal, heroine Sameera Reddy and director Prabhudeva, have left for South Africa to shoot a couple of songs and a stunt sequence.

“The South Africa schedule will go on for more than a week and the 'Vedi' crew will return in the last week of August, as the audio launch of the film is scheduled in Chennai on September 1st,” say sources.

Recently, Vishal was injured on his shoulder while shooting a stunt sequence for 'Vedi'. However, without taking a break, the actor took part in the shoot, we learn from his sister-in-law Shreya Reddy, who is the co-producer of the film.

Produced by Vishal's brother Vikram Krishna under G K Film Corporation banner, 'Vedi' has music by Vijay Antony. It is a remake of the Tollywood super hit 'Souryam'. “The film will hit the screens by the end of September,” sources say.
