(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Vera Farmiga has given birth to a girl.

The actress already has 22-month-old son Fynn with her husband Renn Hawkey, and became a mother for the second time on November 4. The new arrival is called Gytta Lubov, and the family are said to be delighted.

Both mother and baby are happy and healthy, Veras representative confirmed.

No further details, such as where Gytta was born or her weight, have been revealed.

Vera and Renn didnt find out the sex of the baby before she was born, explaining all they wanted was for the tot to be healthy.

The 37-year-old actress started work on movie Up in the Air, for which she was nominated for a best supporting actress Oscar, just two weeks after having Renn. She admitted it was tough to shoot the film so soon after giving birth, but insists she had no choice.

I could never reclaim these first precious moments of maternity, she said. [But] I needed to pay my mortgage. It wasn't an option. I had to do the role. (C) Cover Media
