1st July 2011
Whatever possible way, the Kannada filmdom is trying to gather attention of the audience. Earlier 'Krishnan Marriage Story' went to marriage halls and created awareness of the film and now 'Vinayaka Geleyara Balaga' is moving to several districts and meeting the youth who conduct the Ganesha festival in nook and corners. The VGB team is also assisting the poor students in remitting the examination fees for the 10th standards.
"This is a different sort of movement. We want people to come and watch the film. We are also helping them some with social work," says Dr. Nagendra Prasad director of the film 'Vinayaka Geleyara Balaga'. He will be touring around twenty five cities in the state to interact with the organizers of the annual Ganesha festivals and also promote their film. "In this way we are trying to reach out to people and make any information about our film available to them at their door step." said Nagendra Prasad.
The film's hero Vijaya Raghaendra, the film's heroine Meghana Ganonkar, Music director Hari Krishna and the dialogue writer of the film writer Malavalli Sai Krishna were present at the press conference. Vijaya Raghavendra said that the artists and technicians of the film are now on a promotional trip of the film before its release, mainly because they were extremely confident of the film and were excited because of the fantastic response to the film's audio.
