Chiyaan Vikram is close on the heels of completing his next movie, 'Deiva Magan', loosely based on the Hollywood movie, 'I Am Sam'. The film is directed by 'Madharasapattinam' fame Vijay and is produced by Mohan Natarajan.

'Deiva Magan' will be ready for release next month and Vikram will start shooting for his next movie, 'Karikalan'. It will be directed by newcomer Kannan, who usually handles graphics in almost all of Shankar's films. The film will be a mega-budget movie produced by Silver Line Film Factory, which recently produced Jeeva's 'Singam Puli'. The film will be made simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, with Katrina Kaif in female lead role. Harris Jayaraj will score the music for the film and rest of crewmembers are yet to be confirmed.
