Vinny Guadagnino was not in a "good place" at the Jersey Shore house.
The 24-year-old reality star decided to depart the shared house in Seaside Heights, New Jersey in the show's latest season.
Although he respects his castmembers, Vinny had to take some quiet time out for himself.
"It's a terrible environment for me to be in when I'm anxious because there's drinking involved, there's fighting involved, a lack of sleep, a lack of privacy," Vinny said in a MTV public service announcement video. "It's just not a good place for me."
Vinny spent two months in the Seaside Heights home before his departure. Instead of delving deeper into his anxiety, the star opted to remove himself entirely from the stressful chaos.
"One of your resources is actually to remove yourself from the situation at hand," Vinny explained. "When my anxiety starts to interfere with my job, my school, or things that I do in my every day life, it starts to become a problem."
Vinny does not believe that people who are suffering from the disorder should remain silent about their struggles.
"It doesn't have to be something so extreme," Vinny said. "Nobody has to be on a ledge in order to seek help."
The fifth season of Jersey Shore began airing in America this month.
