Shonali Bose's 'Margarita With A Straw' has created much hush both commercially as well as in art house.

The film starring Kalki Koechlin has bagged the best feature film honour at the recently celebrated Washington, DC International Film Festival.

Kalki who plays Laila, a cerebral palsy patient tweeted, "And in Filmfest DC look who won best feature film!"

The film made its world premiere at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival before its release followed by screening at other prestigious film fairs like BFI London Film Festival and Busan International Film Festival.
