Usually, when Kamal Haasan makes a film, he wants it to be made bi-lingually, as he feels that he has a great market in Andhra Pradesh as well. He has now decided to release his next film simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. The film, that is titled 'Viswaroobam' in Tamil, will have Kamal Haasan playing the role of a military officer, while Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will play his wife.

The film is directed by Selvaraghavan and is produced by UTV Motion Pictures, in collaboration with Moser Baer Entertainment.  The film was supposed to go on the floors by first week of May but was delayed as the crew members, including Kamal Haasan and Selvaraghavan, were denied a US visa. Finally, they have decided to shift the shooting to Canada and have been granted the visa. G.V. Prakash will be scoring the music for the film, while Ramji handles the cinematography.
