Krish, after 'Vaanam', is directing a film in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. His first film 'Gamyam' was not only a great hit but all earned him a lot of awards and appreciation. This film was also remade in Tamil with the title 'Kadhalna Summa Illai'. After this, he directed a film titled 'Vedham' which had a multi star cast. The innovative screenplay in this film, which had Allu Arjun in the cast, captivated the audience. Then Simbhu wanted this film to be remade in Tamil. Krish himself directed this remake version which was titled 'Vaanam'. He made his friend Anusha act in this film. She donned the role of a commercial sex worker in this film, which gave her a new identity.

Since 'Vaanam' had a good response, Krish is planning to make a film in Tamil and Telugu. Anushka gave her call sheet without even listening to the story. So Krish wants a hero who is quite familiar to both the states. Now, Krish's choice is Surya, Karthi or Simbu and he has asked Anushka to approach the heroes.
