Vivek, who plays a crucial role in 'Murattu Kalaai' was recently criticized for hurting the feelings of the transgender community. Apparently the film had a lot of ambiguous dialogues intended at the transgender community.

"I respect transgenders a lot. I in fact did a lot of research before shooting for the film," said the top comedian,"I never intended to hurt their sentiments."

"My dialogues in Murattu Kaalai were not aimed at criticising transgenders. There are certain scenes which fight for their rights. I am hopeful that they would understand me," he further expressed.
