CBFC clears Neeraj Pandey's 'Aiyaary' with U/A certificate

After struggling to get a censor certificate from CBFC, good news knocked the door yesterday evening when Neeraj Pandey's 'Aiyaary' starring Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee got a U/A censor certificate from the board.

Recently, the makers of this thriller flick postponed their official release date from February 9 to February 16. While the unfortunate delay was not due to some clash but the awaiting of the censor certificate which was pending as the film was being reviewed by the Ministry of Defence.

Delighted by the news, director announced the news on twitter sharing the image of the U/A censor certification. He captioned the pic saying, ''Finally... this just arrived. All cleared for #AiyaaryOnFeb16 now! Thank you #CBFCIndia. Thank you MOD. Excited by the news, Manoj Bajpayee expressed his joy with the tweet that read, "That's a green light for #AiyaaryOnFeb16 with no more pit stops along the way! Thank you #CBFCIndia and MOD." Rakul Preet Singh also expressed her excitement, "And It's a smooth road ahead to #AiyaaryOnFeb16! Thank you #CBFCIndia and MOD." 

Aiyaary is a drama thriller revolving around a sensitive subject which includes corruption in the Indian Army. It narrates a story of two important characters played by Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra. It also stars Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Rakul Preet Singh and Pooja Chopra in pivotal roles. So catch up the film in your nearby theatres on Feb 16.
