Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'ABCD 2' is sailing smoothly in Pakistan, Punjab and Sindh, but the film faced some problems from the Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC) in Islamabad as they wanted passionate smooching scenes to be excised from the film.
The certificate further demanded that whenever the Indian Flag waving scene occurs in the film, it should be excised. Apparently, this demand posed problems for the film, as in the final climax song 'Vande Mataram' prominent Indian flag waving scenes have been depicted.
Confirming this news, Nadeem Mandviwalla, owner of Mandviwalla Entertainment, a leading producer, distributor and exhibitor in Pakistan, says, "Due to excessive cutting in the film by the CBFC, specially in the end song, resulting in nearly the entire song being excised, we opted not to exhibit the film at our ME-Centaurus Cineplex in Islamabad."
