We aren't making fun of Katrina's Hindi: Varun

5th April 2014

Bollywood Actress Katrina Kaif's Hindi has always been the butt of all jokes.

Ever since the actress of British Origin and Indian roots made her debut in India, her Hindi has been her weakness.

The joke in recent times was made public when Varun Dhawan took a dig at it onscreen in his recently released film 'Main Tera Hero' directed by his father David Dhawan

But the father and son duo confirm that there is no bad blood between them and Katrina as she is assured that it was all in good humor.

"There is no issue at all (with Katrina). Even she knows it has been done in good humour," said David Dhawan who has worked with Katrina in 'Partner'.

On the other hand, Varun is confused over why people are making such a big deal out of it.

"I don't know why people are focusing so much on it. We aren't making fun of Katrina's Hindi. She knows there's no ulterior motive," said Varun.

On a positive note, the film has got positive response from audience and decent reviews from critics.

Now that he is done with the promotions, he will soon start work on his upcoming films.

Varun is slated to begin the yet-untitled film with director Sriram Raghavan while Karan Johar and choreographer-director Remo D’Souza's  films are too lined up for him.
