Vikramaditya Motwane’s next "Lootera" starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha hogged headlines when it was announced. But unfortunately the film later stayed in news for untimely weather woes that delayed the film from the very beginning. The film was stalled for days when their schedule at Dalhousie in Himachal Pradesh was hit by heavy snow fall. And now that they have somehow managed to continue with the shooting and moved to West Bengal, there too the situations have been worse making it more difficult for them to carry forward the shoot.
Due to the unpredictable weather and unavailability of resources at the place of shoot the cast and crew is wasting a lot of time. Most of the time the cast and crew are either travelling from hotels to locations or waiting for the weather to stabilize. The woes accelerated when one fine day a huge mob of crowd surrounded the shooting location which made it difficult for the crew to handle the situation.
Producer Vikas Bahl explained the situation, “It became very difficult during the initial days to shoot because people starting pouring in when they heard Ranveer and Sonakshi were shooting. It got so bad at one time that we had to create a barricade to stop people from entering the frames,” said Vikas.
