(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Rachel Weisz reunited with her former fianc Darren Aronofsky to celebrate their son's birthday together this week.

The British actress has remained on good terms with her ex-partner of nine years, despite them splitting in November last year. The pair wanted to make sure their son Henry had a fifth birthday to remember, so decided to throw him a party in New York restaurant Serendipity 3 on Tuesday.

According to the New York Post, the actress and the Hollywood director both opted to eat a healthy meal of filet of sole with vegetables. The family laughed and joked as they celebrated Henry's special day, with 41-year-old Rachel looking happy and relaxed dressed in a denim skirt with her hair in a ponytail. Darren also chose to dress casually, wearing shorts and a T-shirt.

Rachel and Darren have decided to jointly raise Henry in New York.

Rachel recently returned to the US after spending time in Paris, France, with her rumoured boyfriend Daniel Craig. The pair first sparked romance rumours when they were spotted holding hands in England in December last year. (C) Cover Media
