An interesting news that was spilled out lately is that before Imran Khan was offered the lead in 'Gori Tere Pyaar Mein', Dharma Productions had approached Shahid Kapoor for the role, but he simple rejected it.

According to sources, director Punit Malhotra had offered the role to Shahid, but the actor was not convinced and he backed out. Shahid rejected the offer even when producer Karan Johar made a call to him.

Apparenly, Shahid also backed out of Maneesh Sharma's Yash Raj Films' (YRF) project.

While many dream to work with biggies like Dharma and YRF, there's an actor like Shahid who says no to big banners too.
