(Cover) - EN Star Style - Whitney Port is in love with maxi dresses because they are both "casual and glam".

The reality TV star is also a successful fashion designer and regularly takes to her blog to fill in fans on her favourite looks. At the moment she's enjoying wearing long skirts and dresses because she finds them so effortless.

"I was inspired to wear a maxi dress out last night. My favourite thing about this trend is that you can make it casual for day and glam it up for night," she explained. "This particular maxi was from Sielian's Vintage Apparel on Melrose Ave., along with the belt and the choker (my new favourite trend)."

Earlier this week, Whitney spoke about her love of long skirts. She's a fan of any trend which is easy to wear and works well no matter what the season, and feels maxis fit that brief well.

"It's a trend that can start in the Spring, go through the Summer and carry into Fall. I also love the fact that I can dress it up for a fun night out or dress it down for a casual trip to the Coffee Bean," she explained. (C) Cover Media
