(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Mark Wahlberg and Will Smith are being offered $1 million each to fight in a celebrity boxing match.
The hunky Hollywood stars are known for their athletic prowess and ripped bodies, and have both portrayed boxers on the big screen.
Damon Feldman, chief executive officer of Hollywood Boxing Federation, is planning to offer Mark and Will the opportunity to fight in Las Vegas at a star-studded charity bash in February next year.
"This will be a great opportunity for both stars to fight in the Superbowl of Hollywood boxing and to donate millions to their favourite charities," Damon told Radar.
The event is scheduled to take place on February 26, with the exact location still undecided. Damon wants the actors to fight three one-minute rounds, and it is not yet known if they will agree to take part. He was quick to add that the fight would be for entertainment purposes, and he doesnt expect it to get too aggressive.
"We don't think these two are going to rip each others heads off," he explained. "We're just hoping they get into the ring and have a little fun duking it out."
Mark displays his fighting skills portraying boxer "Irish" Micky Ward in new movie The Fighter, while Will famously played boxing icon Muhammad Ali in 2001 movie Ali, so they already have experience in the field. If Mark and Will agree to take part it would be a real coup for the Federation, and would see them join stars such as Rodney King, Michael Lohan and Danny Bonaduce who have previously fought in the Hollywood Boxing Federation.
