(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Willow Smith fell asleep during a meeting with Jay-Z, but it was fine as she didnt miss anything good.

The ten-year-old singer is the daughter of Hollywood stalwarts Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. She burst onto the pop scene last year with her debut track Whip My Hair, which is so accomplished many couldnt believe it was made by someone so young.

Willow is signed to Jay-Zs Roc Nation label, and the rapper tries to give her advice whenever he sees her. She isnt always keen on hearing about the intricacies of releasing records though, admitting she once had a nap while meeting with him.

[I was asleep] probably for about ten minutes, she told a British radio show.

I didnt miss anything good. I only missed the parts where he was explaining to Mum and Dad where Im going and when the singles going to drop. I suppose thats important.

Willows new single is called 21st Century Girl, but so far she has only teased fans with a short preview of it.

The young star began her career in movies, appearing alongside her father in I Am Legend. Music has always been her first love though, and she is inspired by artists including Lady Gaga and 80s rocker Billy Idol.
