The man who has many faces, Anupam Kher turns 57 today. In all these years, the actor, producer and director has given the audiences his best, making him a versatile star.

Kher started his career in 1982 with the film 'Aagmaan'. But he was recognized for his performance in the film 'Saaransh' which also won him the Best Actor Filmfare Award.

Working in over 400 films, Kher has done every possible role Bollywood can offer. Ranging from comedy, drama and romance, Kher has earned praises for each genre. He has mostly won awards for Best Comedian.

Besides Bollywood, Kher is also seen in Hollywood. Films like 'Banana Brothers', 'Bend It Like Beckham', 'Bride and Prejudice' and his recent movie 'Silver Linings Playbook', has yet again made him an all-rounder.

Kher is a proud Indian actor to work with stars like Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and many more.

If acting and making films wasn't enough, Kher has also indulged in playback singing, lended his voice for an animated film and also worked in over 100 plays.

The actor is married to well known Bollywood actress Kirron Kher and he has a step-son Sikander Kher (son of Kirron Kher).
