The young, bubbly actress has become a darling of South Indian film fans. The actress's Bollywood debut 'Aap Ka Surooor' didn't work miracles for her and she gradually stepped down south. However, Kollywood has once again proved that it's a hub for the most unsuccessful actresses, who had terrible career graph in Bollywood.

The actress's debut in Kollywood 'Mappillai' bombed at the box-office and she is pinning her hopes on the film 'Engeyum Kadhal', that opens this week. The actress has 'Velayudham' and 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi' in her hands and is on talks with other projects as well.

Hansika says that work is her priority and she is scrutinizing scripts so that she chooses those that give her complete scope for acting.  The pretty lady is likely to pair with Vijay in one of his upcoming films.
