September 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Josh Holloway, who starred in the hit TV series "Lost", might be interested in some sort of a "mission" (all puns intended!)
Holloway, played the role of Sawyer a con man for six straight seasons , is in concluding negotiations to join popular actor Tom Cruise for the fourth installment of the "Mission: Impossible" franchisee. Paramount has thus confirmed this bit of news.
The craze of super spy movies are slowly but steadily coming back to Hollywood; M:I 4 is an indication of that aforementioned fact. Actors like Jeremy Renner and Paula Patton have actually signed on to star with Cruise for the movie.
Vladimir Mashkov alongwith Swedish actor Michael Nyqvist, will also join the 4th "Mission: Impossible" movie. Michael Nyqvist essayed the role of protagonist in the film version of the hit "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo". He would be portraying the role of the villain in the flick.
Josh had earlier played several roles in independent films like "Whisper" and "Stay Cool." This would be his first ever big movie debut; and what a debut, sharing screen-space with the icon, Tom Cruise.
J.J. Abrams is the producer and the director is Brad Bird. The two are slated to produce and direct the film and it should rock the boxoffice.
