The latest buzz in Kollywood is that music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is rocking with songs and background score, is all set to turn a producer. And his maiden production venture will have Ajith playing the lead role.

'The film will be directed by Yuvan's cousin Venkat Prabhu, who had earlier worked with Ajith in Mankatha. Yuvan himself will compose music for this movie. An official announcement is expected soon,' say sources.

They add that it was a long time wish of Yuvan to produce a movie and things are taking shape only now. 'Preliminary talks are over. Yuvan is happy about joining hands with Thala Ajith and Venkat Prabhu,' they add.

It is to be noted Yuvan's father, the maestro Ilayaraja, too had produced movies. Some of the popular films produced by the 'Isaignani' are Superstar Rajinikanth starrer Rajathi Raja and Kamal Haasan starrer Singaravelan.
