December 16, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Zac Efron, Halle Berry and Sarah Jessica Parker might just join other A-listers to give the audience a great 2012 New Year. After having a good success with the film Valentines Day with a huge ensemble cast, Garry Marshall wants to celebrate New Years Eve with another such star cast.
The film is reported to have stars like Ashton Kutcher, Robert De Niro, Abigail Breslin, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank and not the new names are also being thrown in. Zac is reported to play a bike messenger who will come in touch with Pfeiffers character and will try to fulfill her resolutions for the New Year.
Sarah is reported to be in negotiation for the role of Breslins mom, who is too depended on her daughter as a companion. All these stars are in different levels of negotiation according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The film will go on floor from Feb 1 2011, while the second unit of the film will start shooting in the Times Square during the New Years Eve. The film will this time once again tell individual stories of these characters and how their lives get intertwined during the New Years Eve. It will be a romantic as well as a bitter sweet drama film like Valentines Day.
The film New Years Eve is scheduled to hit the theatres on Dec 9 2011. Zac is at the moment busy shooting for the film The Lucky One, while Berry got her Golden Globe nomination for Frankie and Alice and Parker is attached to I Dont Know How She Does It.
